Is this a good plan in regards to transferring from a community college to UC Irvine?

I've been here at Fresno city college almost four years dze to late registration date and lack of classes due to a budget cut. I'm nearing my last sem. And all I need is Astronomy and Biopsych but they're all full!!! I was hoping to transfer to another community college closer to Irvine to take those classes and then transfer to the UC. Or my other choice is Northridge. Perhaps I can ask to take those classes at the Univ.? Would they allow me since I cannot get those classes whatsoever!
