PhD in astronomy and astrophysics after M.E/Mtech in aeronautical engineering..?
No. Without a solid grasp of general relativity there is basically nothing you can contribute to any area of modern astrophysics. Astronomy, maybe, but astronomy itself is not even degree level material, yet alone PhD stuff.
