Language choice: Spanish vs Latin?

Spainsh is a neo-latin language along with italian, romanian ( italian and romanian are the closest languages to latin and they have a hard time with latin ) french and portuguese. Also latin is not a dead language dnt believe that bull ppl in italy are required to learn/study latin. Also, Vatican City speaks latin.
