Need an apartment, but has bad credit. What to do?

A guy I know has been living off people's couches for the past year, since his divorce. He says his credit is bad, he doesn't have first and last month rent saved, and because of all the garnishments on his check [back child support, foreclosure, etc] he has little to live on. Make sure that the RAM is 100% compatible with the mobo. I bought a set of RAM, and it "broke" in 1 week because my mother-b didn't have the right voltage. I think you wouldn't need that much RAM. What OS you using? if it's Windows 7 64-Bit, then maybe, although I just can't think of any program(s) or game(s) that could use that much RAM >.>...As long as this PC we're talking about is better than an Alienware, then it's worth it :DDDD........ 23 weeks pregnant and pain?

I have a one year old daughter that I can barley take care of because i am in so much pain. I am 23 weeks pregnant. The pain is all over my body I feel like I am 9 months pregnant. I can not do daily activities easily. It hurts to walk and sit on the toilet or couch. I can not lift my legs off the ground to the couch or bed. The doctor said they can not evaluate me in the office to go to the emergency but I do not want to waste my time for them to brush me off and tell me its ligament pain or that's just pregnancy. As long as you take lots of math and physics courses, some of which you'll be required to take as a physics major any way, you should not have any problems getting into graduate school in a physics or astrophysics department, IF your desire is to go into cosmology or astrophysics. If your are interested (to the point of being obsessed) with planetary geology, get a master's in geophysics or geology. ONCE you get to the point of applying to graduate schools for admission to a Ph.D. program, be aware that there are only about FIVE universities that have a planetary geology program - Brown University, Arizona State University, University of Arizona, University of Colorado at Boulder, and Caltech.

A couple of bolt-ons and bam 350hp ive got a 96gt with a 2v romeo so now I want to build it a bit more than it is. ok, lets buy an intake manifold I cant what about heads nope if I want heads I have to buy ported pi heads for a 99 that are crazy expensive from patriot mount it to mine than buy some more parts and manifold just to crank a little more power. So, I adopted a three month old kitten from the streets. We have a great relationship and all, she rarely bites now and sleeps with me at night either curled up at my neck or on my stomach purring, and kneads my arm all the time. Give her a job to do to keep her busy. She's probably ''hunting'' and eating things out of boredom. The more mental and physical stimulation she gets, the less likely she'll have the energy or time to get into the stuff she shouldn't. Border Collies can run and herd ALLLLL DAY, so these dogs have tons of energy and need exercises that keep them engaged, interested, and satisfied. Just because the dogs have so much land to explore doesn't mean that's enough to make them all happy. A yard, no matter what the size, simply becomes a giant kennel after a while....so it's normal for some dogs to become extremely bored and find other ways to entertain themselves.

Lifting things during pregnancy advice please!?

I am 21 weeks roughly and there was a free couch right down the road maybe a block, and my husband wanted it, I know I'm not supposed to lift anything heavy and so I told him that we could go look at it and I could attempt it and if I felt like I would be uncomfortable lifting it that I wouldn't do it so we went down there and the couch wasn't heavy really at all, it had some weight obviously cuz its a couch but it was fairly light for being a couch, so I lifted it and carried it back to my house using my arms and legs more than my tummy and back but being since I haven't done really ANY lifting during pregnancy and just been taking it easy it made me a little nervous, I didn't feel any pain or discomfort and my baby girl is still twitching around in there do you think I'm okay? Very big issue involving cats and our new landlord, what should I do?

If I were you, I'd confront the landlord and be honest. Mention that they have no place to go and your only option is for you to take them in. Most apartment complexes (actually I think all) charge you extra for having pets in the house. But to be honest I had a cat in my apartment and my landlord or manager of the complex never knew nor found out. I find it the right way to be honest because if the landlord were to find the cat and you never told him/her then that's twice the penalty. Just be honest! :) Good luck!

Just work hard to get the gpa as high as possible. GPA isn't always everything though. Strong letters of recommendation are really important and a good GRE score. Different schools hold different things in higher priority. Some schools rate the letters as post important and GPA might be second or third. If your GPA is lower than you think it should be then just make sure that your GRE, letters of recommendation and statement are really, really good.

Just lately I've noticed my cat breathing differently. Her activity level has not changed. She is 3 months old and occasionally makes weird breath sounds. I have what I call an "open air" computer, which consists of two full height Seagate hard disks on their sides, a piece of plywood on top acting as an insulator and the motherboard on top of that. It all sits inside of a clear 3 sided plexiglass box with my monitor sitting on top. I added a small CPU cooler fan to blow over the hard drives for cooling. Friend passed out what happened?

So me and my friend went to a party the other night everything went fine. She got drunk, but nothing new. The next day we go over to my other friends house and smoke a few bowls. Again nothing special. All of the sudden she just falls straight to the ground and hits her head on a cabinet. I had no idea what was going on and she barely reacted to hitting her head and just laid there. i knew something was up so i helped her up and asked what wrongs and she barely responded, then she slowly hunches over and falls backwards and passes out again! So now I'm freaking out, I slap her face a little to wake her up and i pull her up to go sit her on the couch. On the way to the couch she can barely take 5 steps without her whole body shutting down and not being responsive. She'd just slump to the ground. Every time its only for about 20 sec then she can barely respond. I'd have to yell her name for her to wake back up. She'll open her eyes, stand back up and say im fine then the next 5 steps she would just go limp again. i had to hold her up the entire time so that when she blacked out she wouldn't fall and hit something. Then i finally sat her down cuz she could not walk without passing out. She was in a cold sweat and said she just wanted to sleep but i wouldn't let her afraid she wouldn't wake back up. After a while she was fine and was light headed the rest of the day. So my question is what happened!? Did she get drugged at the party? She does not do any other drugs besides pot and alcohol and she was not dehydrated and had plenty of sleep.

To me this seems a very capable computer, the only thing I would say is that I got mine yesterday, and spent 400 quid on it and am maxing out empire and Napoleon total war easily with to frame rate dropping at all, so it depends on what games you want to play. But my advice would be that that PC seems well capable of playing many games maxed out :) Hope I helped

Im building a gaming pc and need to know a few things.?

Hmmm, small world. I just built two of almost this exact computer earlier today, one for me and one for my wife. Same Mobo, Processor, and RAM (but only 4GB, more isn't really necessary/useful yet.) The only real difference is I went for the WD Caviar 1.5TB, because it runs on SATA 6.0, which doubles the transfer rate over the SATA 3.0. The motherboard has built in SATA 6.0 ports (they're the white ones). Word of advice, for your single GPU to actually run at PCI 16x, you need to plug it into PCI port #2 (the blue one) and use the enclosed (w/Mobo) Video Graphic Card to fill PCI 16x slot # 1. Not sure why they designed it that way... I'm powering with a Corsair 750w, the 600 should be enough, but maybe not if you ever decide to SLI a 2nd graphics card into the Mobo (of course if you did, both cards would be limited to PCI-8x, once again, what's with this Mobo and its GPU configurations!! Running a higher capacity PSU at a lower constant total percentage of maximum load is cheaper in the long run (it converts power more efficiently), that's the main reason I went with the 750. Oh, and btw, these two computers run fast as all hell... very decent for the bargain price. Just make sure you get an aftermarket CPU fan if you're going to overclock it. (I went with the Cooler Master Hyper 212+)

are you just bragging? It really doesn't get any better than that. You can run pretty much ANY game on highest settings easily. The only thing that could make that better would be 16gb of RAM and a hexa core processor even though those are totally unnecessary. Even still many, if not all games, don't utilize all 4 cores, and 12gb of RAM still seems excessive, but i can't talk for hd video editing. You are pretty much set for a good 10, 15 years maybe more. If this is your build, you are very future proof as you are very near the pinnacle of PC components.

Build 2, DEFINITELY build 2. It will perform better in games, and seeming as you've gone for the k version, you're probably willing to overclock. The i5-2500k overclocks better than any i7's that are out right now, and once you do that, you will get a lot more bang from that processor.

There are more appropriate books for your age and educational level. Robert Dixon authored Dynamic Astronomy, which has gone through at least seven editions. While a bit out of date (nothing on exoplanets for example) I think it would be better for you. An even better idea is to go to the website of Sky & Telescope magazine (skyandtelescope.com) and look through their book reviews for an up to date book on your level. This also is an excellent source of current information.

I have been on Percocet 10/325 for a year. My husband had a few of his 'boys' over and guess what came up missing out of my bathroom cabinet? Yep. Now I am in extreme pain. I was able to bear it for two days, but this, the third, I can't get off the couch and my knee keeps giving out on me and I'm getting searing pains up and down my leg and my nerves in that leg are going crazy. I get my meds in pain management and they have a strict policy of no refills early, even if they are stolen (WITH a police report). A friend just came over and he is prescribed Oxycodone HCL 5 mg, and he said that they were basically the same thing that I am taking. I only need a couple as I can get my refill in a few days. so, is this the same as it, or is what he wants me to have considered Oxycontin? I'm very nervous about taking meds that aren't prescribed to me, but the ER or anything else is out of the question. I just wanted to know if this truly is the same thing that I am prescribed? It sounds like your going into this with a very cocky attitude. If you can stay cocky once you get that homework load I think you'll do fine. All the people I know who load up on credit hours like that seem to spend most of their time talking about how much work they have though, not necessarily complaining, more like bragging. But if you think you can do it, and then you do do it, I'm sure you will have a fantastic time telling your fellow astrophysicists how you did a bunch of extra work to get an extra degree.

I understand how frustrating OCD can be; I have it myself- i constantly wash my hands, have to check things various times and i overthink things so much to the point it drives me insane. i know many other people who had OCD, all in different forms for instance my mother has OCD about cleaning and tidiness and it pisses me off so much!! I think everyone has OCD, but in different forms. I think you should talk to him, tell him how upset you are and maybe suggest he go to cognitive behavioural therapy for his OCD, I havent tried it, but I hear it helps. I would suggest that you majorly boost your extracurricular activities because if your grades are not stellar, that's the next thing that universities look at. I don't know about Concordia or Bishop, but it's unlikely that you'll get into McGill with those grades, as the competition is stiff and they even turn straight-A students away. Your grade 10 and 11 marks are the most important because you'll have to submit high school grades in the middle of your grade 12 year so they won't be able to base your admission on your entire grade 12 year. Pregnant cat is leaking fluid but not showing signs of labor?

I've never had a occasion to need 1200W of power for any computer I ever built, so it would be hard to say. Corsair has one of the best ratings for PSU's and CoolerMaster is no slouch either! I'd spend the extra bucks on the Corsair. Unless your rig is using at least 3, GTX 580's you really don't need that much power! IF you have a Case that has upper and lower PSU locations you can use two lesser PSU...one to drive the machine and one just for video cards. I have a wacko client that uses a Corsair 650W for his machine an one 850W for the video cards!

That's a very fair price. Maybe people don't want to invest in "old" tech and are dissuaded when they see something like the 4870, when they're in the 6000 series now. Well 2 4870's are the equivalent of an hd 5870 so if you add the crossfire 4870 it'll be much more sellable. If you do that i'd raise the price to like $550 though.

This build is considered to be rather outdated. The E8400 was a good processor 2 years ago but now it's nothing. I'm surprised that still find them. I would recommend building a new computer for gaming say i5-2500k and gtx 460 with 4gb of ram. Even if you upgrade your cpu the game performance of assassins creed will not significantly improve because it is more about video card when it comes to gaming. If you're unable to play it right now the same will happen even if u get the e8400.

MY dog is about to be five please help with veteranary advise?

my dog is about to be 5 years old. Usually very spunky, spontanious, and energetic. Lately (in the past two weeks) he seems like his joints are hurting him when he gets up (stands up, gets off the couch, goes up or down stairs or jumps on or off a bed). His whole body looks stiff, but if we take him outside he runs around like nothing is wrong. We found a tick on him about a month ago, but it was already out when we found it. Yes you can, the syllabus is being phased out, P3 is only available once a year but will still be available next summer. You would need to talk to the exams officer at your 6th form and probably pay to enter (it's about �10). However, if you haven't studied Physics for a year you will probably do worse - if you are just off a higher grade you might be better off re-sitting one of the other papers sooner (i.e. in the winter) and trying to gain a few extra marks on that before you forget all your Physics.

Board Game with Battles - easier than Risk or Axis & Allies?

Depending on the scale you like (small battles vs big campaigns) I would recommend Richard Borg's games starting with Battle Cry (American Civil War) and running through the Command and Conquer series from GMT Games (a heavier war game series) and Memoir '44. These games include blocks, cards and minatures and variable terrain tiles. They are played in very fast little scenarios which can be played in an hour or more. I have enjoyed each of them.

Onboard sound is fine for me, you can add it very easily later. If your monitor is too big your eyes work harder to do the same thing. 19inch is good for me. I sometimes play my games smaller as it's easier and faster. All the parts look good to me.

I really like this guy Drew who's friends with my best friend Matt (name's changed for security reasons). I was at Matt's house with him and two other guys. I have a huge interest in space, astronomy, physics, and the universe in general. But I also have an interest in designing and building the things that help explain and explore the universe. So I was wondering what degree should I go for? Should I major in something like physics and minor in engineering or visa versa? Will I need a PhD or masters in one or both of them? Also what schools are the best for these degrees (within reason, I wasn't a straight A genius in high school)?

I've been with my boyfriend for a year and he has a 6 yr old child. He will go and pick up his kid from school or bio moms and come to our house IF I'm there.. when he gets there he plops down on the couch and leaves me to play with his child. now if I'm not going to be home he magically will bring child to his mothers (child's grandmother). There have been times where I've said to him "I am feeling a little taken advantage of here" and he tells me "you need to bond with my child if you want this family to work". I don't mind "bonding" with his child if he would include HIMSELF!! I am like a live-in babysitter and when I'm not available he dumps his responsibility off at his mothers.. Can I do this with my degree?

I am about to start my senior year of high school. I want to be an astronomy/astrophysics major. But the school that i will most likely go to doesn't have that program (I'm probably going to University of Wisconsin Milwaukee). They do have a physics program -- like most schools. Now, would I be able to get the physics degree, and then be able to go to a graduate school that has the astronomy/astrophysics program and get a masters, and then PhD in that area of study, even though I would have a bachelors in physics? Or should I try my hardest my first two years, get my general ed out of the way, and transfer to U of chicago, or UW madison?

I am an American student studying at a private high school in southern California and i am looking to attend University in England. What does my kitten mean when she does this?

So, I adopted a three month old kitten from the streets. We have a great relationship and all, she rarely bites now and sleeps with me at night either curled up at my neck or on my stomach purring, and kneads my arm all the time. But sometimes during the day when she wants to play with me, or whenever I'm sitting on the couch or the floor or in reachable distance, she likes to pounce on my hand or feet and try to bite or swat with her paws at it. Question about the Earth Science Regents?

Okay well im studying pretty much all week , b/c i have a feeling i will pass , like 70% sure. I took my lab practical, and i think i got a 10 or higher, out of 16. Im just afraid because i do really bad on part 2's and astronomy. :/ Is the curve big? about how big? My dog will not let me pick her up?

I've had my dog Holly for a year now. I rescued her from the pound. She's a sweet dog, cuddles with me on the couch, when I go to bed whatever. How screwed am i for medical school?

I just completed my freshman year of undergrad and ended the year with a 2.8 gpa (and an even lower science gpa around 2.4/2.5). I got C+'s in both Gen Chem I and II and a C- in a Honors Biology course which I retook and still only ended up with a B-. I'm usually pretty good at Biology but messed up the class really bad. I'm taking the 2nd Biology class right now along with Physics and have a solid A in Physics and an A- in Biology which I'm hoping to pull up to an A. I plan on taking many science/math courses next year including Organic Chemistry, the next Physics Course, Microbiology, Genetics, and Statistics and will probably take some other science courses next summer. I'm also involved in undergraduate research, vice president of a club, and a volunteer at a local hospital. I also take ballet lessons and have a part time summer job. I know I reallyyy screwed up my freshman year but do I still have a chance? I'm making some good connections with undergraduate research and volunteering for future med school recommendation letters and I plan on taking a lot of biology courses as well as stuff like astronomy, botany, etc. to pull up my science gpa but my question is even if i manage to get a 3.5 science gpa would med schools decline me because of the C+'s I got in Gen Chem and the mistakes i made freshman year? What if I pulled off an A-/B+ in Ochem. Is med school out of the question? I'm a Molecular Biology major and a public health minor (i plan on getting a masters in public health or mha if i don't get into med school)
